Supply Chain Concentration
The BS Degree in Business with a Supply Chain Management Focus
The Supply Chain Management curriculum at NC State’s Poole College of Management provides undergraduates with the skills, knowledge and practical experience to become tomorrow’s supply chain leaders. The curriculum is available as a concentration for students majoring in Business Administration.
Supply Chain Management students receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major with an operations/supply chain management concentration.
Undergraduate Practicum
A distinguishing characteristic of the Supply Chain Management undergraduate concentration in the Business Administration program at Poole College is that students engage in a semester-long experiential learning project. Called the practicum, the project pairs small student teams with an industry partner of the SCRC to help solve a specific supply-chain problem that company is experiencing. Students gain valuable work experience in the field as well as professional contacts that can help them secure employment when they graduate.
NCSU Supply Chain Club
“The NCSU Supply Chain and Operations club provides critical learning and career development experiences for undergraduate students. Events include: guest speakers from prominent organizations who speak about their work experiences, the semi-annual Supply Chain Recruiting Event, and tours of local supply chain company facilities. All students interested in learning more about Supply Chain Management and Operations, including undeclared undergraduate students, are encouraged to attend club meetings.”
