Ian George

Bio

Dr. George is a global consultant with a focus on leading procurement and supply chain transformation. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and holds a doctorate in leadership. He has developed a number of resources to help organizations diagnose their current situations and develop strategies for implementation and improvement.
His Ph.D. resulted in a suite of tools that help leaders understand their capability profile and how it changes in different situations. Recent projects have included the development of the Procurement Leader’s Transformation Accelerator: a tool used extensively by organizations to help launch their improvement journey through the identification of key issues and suggestions for next steps.

Dr. George has consulted extensively across many sectors worldwide for companies including Anglo American, Babcock International, Magnox Ltd, Mondi, JCB, Heineken, Maersk, Airbus, BMW, IBM, American Express, and HP. His primary goal when working with organizations is to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and experience to develop and deliver their own transformation successes.
