Amir Hossein Sadeghi

PhD candidate, Industrial and Systems Engineering

Amir is a Graduate Research Assistant in Supply Chain Resource Cooperative (SCRC) at North Carolina State University. He has been a Ph.D. student in industrial and system engineering at North Carolina State University since 2021. Sadeghi’s research lies in the areas of systems analytics and optimization, and supply chain. He uses operations research, and machine learning to improve and maintain the logistic design. He is a volunteer member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). He has also actively participated in various professional activities and conferences during his research. Sadeghi is the winner of the Lisa Zaken scholarship during his Ph.D. studies, this award is intended to recognize excellence in scholarly activities and leadership related to the industrial engineering profession.
