Newest Partners to Join the SCRC: Avaya, John Deere, and Stop Hunger Now
Today the SCRC office received confirmation from Avaya that they will be joining the SCRC effective January 2013. Our staff will be meeting with their representative early next week to work out the details of their partnership agreement. In addition, John Deere has joined and will bring with them projects that will focus initially with their Agriculture business out of Cary. Finally, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding needy families, Stop Hunger Now, has also joined the SCRC, and our teams will be working with them to deliver logistics solutions in a non profit environment. This brings SCRC partnerships to 17 – up from 10 just two years ago.

The exciting news is that we also currently have seven (7) SCRC partners interested in sponsoring supply chain fellowships starting in the Fall of 2013. At least one of those partners has committed to sponsoring multiple fellowships at five different locations in NC and Illinois. Students interested in our masters program fellowships should contact us for more information.
This renewed interest in the SCRC is as a result of the effort and support of the administration, faculty and staff across the college and those who helped us re-brand the SCRC over the past 18 months. This growth would not be possible (or sustainable over the long term) if we were not providing value-added, bottom line benefits to our partner companies.
