Corporate United's Collaboration Awards

Corporate United, the nation’s largest group purchasing organization, recently announced its 2011 Collaboration Awards. The Corporate United Collaboration Awards have been established to honor procurement, sourcing, supply chain and other related departments that have demonstrated extraordinary collaboration with internal functional groups and/or external suppliers.  This is a first, as Corporate United is seeking to identify how companies are truly seeking solutions that are “win-win”, through sharing of information, joint planning, and innovative solutions.  The winners will be awarded during a special ceremony at Corporate United’s 10th annual SYNERGY spend management conference being held May 3-5, 2011 in Chicago. Corporate United will provide complimentary SYNERGY travel and hotel accommodations (max value $800) for one person from each award winning company. The event itself is free to attend for professionals with supply chain and related positions.

Corporate United will issue a news release following SYNERGY to announce the award winning companies. The release will be sent to supply chain media, as well as to media relevant to the award winners’ industries and local media where the winning companies are headquartered. Winners will also be announced in the Corporate United quarterly newsletter, which is distributed to thousands of supply chain professionals, as well as industry academics, analysts and other thought-leaders.
